Who doesn't want to be like Tom Crusie?
Reporting has taken me to unusual places every week. This week, for my Missourian shift, I found myself talking to a Phd student in the philosophy department here at MU who is on his was to becoming a priest in the Dominican Order. Interesting in it's own right, Christopher has a facinating background. Apparently, he was somewhat of a hedon and modeled his life after Tom Crusie's role in "Cocktail". He tended bar for several years, refused to go to church and wanted to rid the world of organized religion. He is the nicest, most sincere person I have ever met. Did I mention he's got tatoos?
I love meeting interesting people, I'm just over having to be the one to track them down. I know most of my fellow reporters share this sentiment. I'd complain more but, well, I'm just exhausted. Soon I'll be trying to track down a seamstress who is old. Wish me luck...
